Most thermal-water skincare borrows a European spa-town mystique; this one stakes its claim on raw mineral concentration instead. The spring it draws from, deep beneath Korea's Geumjin region in Gangwon Province, is reported to carry around 37,600 mg/L of dissolved minerals — by the brand's account, roughly three hundred times the mineral load of ordinary thermal water — pulled from about 1,100 meters underground. That density, rather than a picturesque origin, is the whole argument.
The formulating philosophy is unusually literal. Rather than featuring spring water in a single hero product, the line replaces the standard purified-water base across the range with its branded thermal water, the idea being that the carrier itself contributes trace minerals like selenium and vanadium at every step of a routine. To build credibility around an ingredient that is easy to dismiss, the company leaned on joint research with a Catholic medical center and accumulated a portfolio of patents and clinical-efficacy evaluations over years of development.
That focus shows in what the brand makes and how it behaves. Bestsellers like its mineral treatment essence and a fresh water gel are built around hydration and barrier comfort, formulated without parabens, mineral oil, or artificial colorants, and aimed at dry, dehydrated, and easily irritated skin. The textures are light and the marketing, notably, avoids the miracle-cure language that sinks so much "magic water" positioning.
The honest read is that thermal water is genuinely soothing and mineral-rich, but it remains a gentle hydrator rather than a transformative active — no spring, however concentrated, outperforms a well-dosed vitamin or retinoid. What you are actually buying is comfortable, well-made hydration with a distinctive origin story and a calm, dependable feel. Judge it on how it sits on the skin, not on the geology of where the water comes from.

Thermal water is a soothing, hydrating ingredient, but independent clinical evidence for benefits beyond hydration is limited, and the brand's exact founding year is not consistently documented.
