Help us build the most accurate skincare evaluation anywhere.
Dermington exists to answer one deceptively hard question objectively: is this product actually worth using — and for whom? Every product goes through the same transparent process: a verdict in words for each concern it claims to help, read off a published rule register and a versioned evidence table, beside an editorial review that cites mechanisms instead of marketing. No brand can pay for a verdict or a place on a list.
But no algorithm is ever finished. We treat our methodology as a living system that should get more accurate with every informed critique. If you’ve spotted something we got wrong, thought of a better rule, or just have a question — this page is the front door.
What we’d love to hear
Every category below feeds directly back into the product. The more specific you can be, the faster we can act.
Methodology suggestions
Think a rule reaches the wrong verdict, or that we’re missing one entirely? Tell us how our assessments could be more accurate, fair, or transparent. This is the feedback we value most.
Inconsistencies & errors
A verdict that doesn’t match the review, a stale price, a wrong INCI list, a broken link, a factual slip. Flag it and we’ll fix it fast — and credit you if you’d like.
Ingredient & science corrections
If we’ve mischaracterized a mechanism or leaned on weak evidence, point us to the stronger source. Our science section should reflect the best available data.
Missing products or brands
Something we should be evaluating but aren’t? Send it over. Our pipeline is built to keep expanding coverage.
My account, My Skin & your data
Trouble signing in or verifying your email, sync not carrying your library between devices, a backup or export question, a verdict on your skin dashboard that doesn’t make sense for your profile — or you want your data corrected or deleted. Include the device and browser if it’s a sync issue.
Tool ideas & improvements
The toolkit keeps growing — routine builders, severity scores, trackers. If a tool confused you, gave an odd result, or if there’s one you wish existed, we want to know.
Questions
About a specific verdict, a recommendation, how the engine actually works, or how to get the most out of a tool — ask away.
General feedback
What’s genuinely useful, what’s confusing, what would make this the resource you’d recommend to a friend. The unglamorous stuff matters.
What you can expect from us
- Every submission is read by a person — not filtered into a void.
- Methodology changes are deliberate and explained, not silent tweaks.
- Verified corrections are made promptly, and contributors are credited when they want to be.
- No account needed to write in, no data selling — your email is used only to reply to you.
- Honest disagreement is welcome. We would much rather be corrected than confidently wrong.
Only two fields are required. Share as much detail as you can — a link to the specific product, page, or verdict makes anything actionable far faster.
